Lime Plasters
Traditional Hydraulic Lime. Castle Natural Hydraulic Lime is used mixed with sand to make lime mortar, render or plaster. It helps in the maintenance of old buildings where the construction was designed to allow the walls to breathe i.e let moisture pass through the walls of a building in a controlled way. Trying to maintain such a building using cement based renders etc will inevitably lead to moisture build-up in the walls and a damp house. NHL 3.5 moderately hydraulic lime is a powder which can be mixed with water and sand in a user friendly way.
